Results Day!

This is the day you have been waiting for.

  • When are the results available?
    • IGCSE results for the May/June sitting are usually released in mid- August, and for the October/November sitting in mid-January
  •  Where do you get your results?
    • At the Examination Centre where you took your exams. Remember to take your ID.
    • Online - you can get authorised login details from your Examination Centre in advance of results day.
    • By post - some Examination Centres post results to private candidates.
  • What do I receive?
    • A Statement of results. These are printed on full-colour watermarked stationery.
    • A Certificate showing you results - This is  available in mid-October for the May/June series and mid-March for the October/November series.  This is a very important document.  It is the only valid proof of your results. You will need it to show to any future employers or further/higher education establishments

Decisions After Results

  • If you were expecting higher marks for a subject, you can request a re-mark. You have to pay a fee for this.
  • Students who plan to take their studies beyond IGCSE need to carefully select the subjects they take at IGCSE.
  • To study at A Level or Higher Level at IB Diploma, a good pass at IGCSE is expected.  At minimum this would be a level 5 on the 1-9 grading, C pass on the *A - G grading systems.
  • Most universities require level 3 qualifications e.g. A Level, IB Diploma, American High School Diploma.
  • UK universities especially also look back at IGCSE results and usually require a pass in English Language and Maths whatever you apply to study.
